It is the ninth mainline entry in the Like a Dragon series and a direct sequel to Yakuza: Like a Dragon (2020). The game is set to be released on January 26, 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Windows, and Steam.

It is a turn-based RPG that takes place after the events of Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon. The main character is Ichiban Kasuga, and Kazuma Kiryu also returns as a protagonist.

also features fast-paced RPG battles where the battlefield becomes the player’s weapon. Players can adapt their party’s skills to the situation with customizations and jobs to strategically subdue enemies with over-the-top moves.

Tekken 8 is a fighting game developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Arika, and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is the tenth installment in the Tekken series, and is scheduled for release on January 26, 2024. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows.

The game features a new “Heat System” that rewards players for being aggressive and offensive. Players can build up Heat to gain access to special moves and ability boosts that are unique to each character. It is also includes the series’ signature moves, combos, and “Rage Arts”.

A demo for Tekken 8 is available on PlayStation 5.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is an action role-playing game (RPG) developed by Cygames and published by Cygames and Marvelous USA. It is a spinoff of the Granblue Fantasy series and is scheduled for release on February 1, 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows.

The game can be played solo or with up to four players in a party. It features a new story and action game experience assist modes for those who are not familiar with action games. The game also includes over a hundred quests and in-game content.

It is a 2 vs 2 action game where players master the “Cursed Technique” of the Jujutsu Sorcerer and Cursed Spirits. The game is developed by Byking and Gemdrops, and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment and Namco Bandai Games America Inc..

Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash is scheduled for release on February 1, 2024, in Japan, and February 2, 2024, worldwide. It will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

It is set in Metropolis and features four playable characters: Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark.

In the game, players take on the roles of Suicide Squad members and must kill the Justice League to save the world. The game’s mechanics are intended to reflect the personalities of the squad, with flamboyant, exaggerated, and chaotic moves.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released on January 30, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows.

Skull and Bones

Skull and Bones is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Singapore and published by Ubisoft. And is set to be released in February 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Amazon Luna, and Microsoft Windows.

The game is set during the golden age of piracy, and takes place in a world inspired by the Indian Ocean. Players start as an outcast who aims to become the most infamous pirate in the treacherous waters. Also features open-sea exploration and naval combat. Players can craft new ships and equipment, provision for expeditions at sea, pick up contracts, and socialize with other players in pirate dens.

It is started as a PvP game, but has since evolved into a survival game that can be played entirely solo.

Skull and Bones may also refer to:

  • A reference in Baz Luhrmann’s 2013 film version of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel The Great Gatsby. In the film, Nick Carraway implies that he and Tom Buchanan were in Skull and Bones together at Yale.

The remake is being developed by Avantgarden, the Italian studio behind Last Day of June and Murasaki Baby. The original game’s dialogue is spoken in a fictional language based on Lebanese Arabic, so the story is conveyed through actions, gestures, and expressions.

Some say the Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is good for older kids and parents but not for young ones. The story can turn dark, with people being hanged and a battlefield scene with blood everywhere.

In The Outlast Trials, the Murkoff Corporation involuntarily recruits human guinea pigs to test brainwashing and mind control methods. Players can survive the experiments alone or with up to three partners.

The 2024 game is a reimagining of the 1992 game and the seventh installment in the series. It is developed by Pieces Interactive and published by THQ Nordic.  The game is set in the 1920s American south and features a noir setting with Lovecraftian horror elements.  It is available on Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PlayStation 5.

There is also a 2022 movie called Alone in the Dark that is 1 hour and 27 minutes long and is rated TV-14.

The game is set in the lands of Vermund and Battahl, in a parallel universe from the original Dragon’s Dogma. It tells the story of an Arisen (the player and main character) and their Pawns, all woven into the politics and events of the wider world.

The game is single-player and narrative-driven, challenging players to choose their own experience. This includes the appearance of their Arisen, their vocation, their party, and how to approach different situations. The Pawn system allows players to feel as if accompanied through the game.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is Capcom’s first $70 base game, with a special edition costing £70/$80.

In the game, players take on the role of a Ronin, a masterless samurai, in late 19th century Japan. Ronin are wandering swordsmen who are free to carve their own path. The game is set during a time of conflict and upheaval, and players will fight to shape history.

Rise of the Rōnin is Team Ninja’s first open-world game, and is considered one of their most ambitious projects. The game supports up to three online players with PS Plus, and online play is optional.
