According to a recent Macrumors report, the forthcoming iPhone 16 Pro is expected to showcase a larger screen of around 6.27 inches, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max is anticipated to feature an even more expansive 6.85-inch display.

Comparison between iPhone 15 vs iPhone 16

The augmented screen dimensions of the upcoming iPhones are anticipated to result in slightly larger overall dimensions, both in terms of height and width, when compared to their predecessors. The upcoming iPhones will be a bit bigger in size compared to the previous models due to the larger screens. This means they will be a tad taller and wider.

In addition to the bigger screens, Apple is planning to add a new Capture Button in the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models. This button will give a feeling of touch when you press it but won’t physically move. It’s going to respond to how hard you press it, thanks to a special sensor.

This Capture Button is meant to make recording videos easier. Just a touch, and it starts recording right away, making the whole process simpler. From what we’ve seen in a prototype, this button might be on the right side for easy reach. And, depending on how hard you press, it could do different things – a light touch might take a photo, while a harder press could start recording a video.

The upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro models are expected to have a new and powerful A18 Bionic chip inside. There’s talk about a special “tetra-prism” telephoto lens in the iPhone 16 Pro models that can zoom in 5 times for better close-up pictures. These phones might also come with a much better 48-megapixel wide-angle camera, a big upgrade from the current 12-megapixel one on the iPhone 15 Pro models.
